“Wicked Free Summer Fun” includes 80 major cultural organizations offering Free Fun Fridays through the Highland Street Foundation. Among the participating venues: Ventfort Hall Mansion and Gilded Age Museum (Lenox), Edward Gorey House (Yarmouth Port), The Boston Children’s Museum (Boston), Pilgrim Hall Museum (Plymouth), and EcoTarium (Worcester).
More family-friendly events sure to draw crowds are the Boston Pops Annual 4th of July concert and fireworks spectacular at the Hatch Shell on the Esplanade (Boston), yoga on Spectacle Island and parks throughout the Bay State (statewide), the Southeast Asian Water Festival (Lowell), Annual Carnival Week (Provincetown), and Feast of the Three Saints (Lawrence). Some happenings are limited to one day, while others occur on a weekly basis.
